PSD2 directive regulates all bank transfers, direct debits, and other banking transactions in Europe. It aims to make all payment services in the financial sector more transparent, competitive, and innovative. In addition, all customers’ financial data are fully protected.

Thanks to PSD2, banks have to make possible the access to all accounts, the so-called XS2A or open banking, as it is popularly known. Therefore, they are obliged to provide the necessary interfaces so that customers can access them. As you know, 11Onze interface is El Canut, the latest generation application, already available on Android and Apple, a digital wallet where you can make all kinds of different transactions and manage accounts from several financial institutions at the same time.

This access can only be authorised by the account holder and has a fixed duration, usually around 90 days, as indicated at the time of linking it to El Canut.
